Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VoyageOS, operated by Miles After Work ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using VoyageOS, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service, and its beta status

VoyageOS is a travel-planning assistant: it helps you organize trips, parse booking confirmations, build packing lists and itineraries, and answer trip-related questions using AI. VoyageOS is currently in beta, available only to invited testers via an allowlist. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice while in beta.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VoyageOS, and legally able to enter into these Terms where you live. By using the service you confirm this is true.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Provide accurate information when creating your account.
We may suspend or terminate access for violating these Terms, misusing the service, or if you're removed from the beta allowlist.

Your content

You own the trip data, notes, and documents you put into VoyageOS. By using the service, you give us a limited license to store, process, and display that content back to you — and, if you explicitly create a share link, to the people you share it with. You're responsible for having the right to upload anything you add to the app.

AI-generated content can be wrong. VoyageOS uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to parse booking confirmations, extract flight and hotel details, generate packing lists, and answer questions. AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or simply incorrect — a parsed flight time, confirmation number, or date is not guaranteed to match your actual booking. Always verify critical travel details directly with your airline, hotel, or booking provider before relying on them — VoyageOS is a planning aid, not a source of truth for your travel.

Acceptable use

Don't use VoyageOS to:

Break the law, or upload content you don't have the right to share;
Attempt to access another user's data, or bypass the beta allowlist;
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service's infrastructure;
Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

Third-party services and bookings

VoyageOS helps you organize information about trips — it is not a travel agency, and it does not make bookings on your behalf. Any flight, hotel, or activity you book is a transaction between you and that provider directly; we are not responsible for their pricing, availability, cancellations, or service quality. Map, place, and photo data shown in the app comes from third parties (Foursquare, Unsplash, Mapbox, Stadia Maps) and is provided "as is."

No warranty

VoyageOS is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. As beta software, it may contain bugs, and data loss is possible — please don't rely on VoyageOS as your only record of trip-critical information; keep your own copies of confirmation emails and documents.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Miles After Work will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of VoyageOS — including a missed flight, a booking error, or any decision made based on AI-parsed or AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or, during the current free beta, a nominal amount of $50).

Termination

You may stop using VoyageOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, and may discontinue the beta or specific features at our discretion.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of VoyageOS after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law
